She:.... Splurges on jackets of all colours.. He has a lot of jackets,Branded ones at that. Now he went crazy and bought a saffron jacket. Just imagine , a SAFFRON Jacket... this guy has lost his brains.. He spends money on all worthless things like gadgets,which even dont have a resale value.Every three months he buys a new mobile phone, god knows what happens to the older phone .He earns 50k a month and saves about 10K a month. The Rest is all spent on frivolous things. My MIL(mother in law) rants about how he is not saving money for the future...(If i had married a guy like that, i wouldn't eve have to work. He would have taken care of my cosmetic bills and the beauty parlour bills without blinking a eye ball, hmmmph.. all i am stuck with, is this boring, stingy Idiot who has nothing on his mind except saving.. WTF! he even checks how many shades of nail enamel i have and tells me " u already hv dat shade whenever i want 2 buy one )
He: Ask your MIL to get him married off. he would then get tied DOWN and would realise the necessity of saving( Thats what my Mom did when she thought i was being irresponsible).And best way to make him start saving it is by getting him to live with his parents after he gets married.He would understand the needs faster and better.(My wife picked my brains till they bled, till i bought a place(on EMI, of course) just for two-cosy, comfortable and stylish as her MIL wouldn't approve of fabindia stuff to be draped at the old place.)
